All I ever want to do as a makeup artist is to make women look and feel beautiful. Creating a bridal division within Capuchino Beauty was a natural progression. I never realized what an honor it would be. The truth is we believe in creating long lasting relationships that build trust beyond the initial bridal consultation. This continues through the brides most significant day of her life, her wedding day. Through that trust we strive to build early on, we remain the beauty company they refer to their family and friends for years to come.
This alone speaks volumes on how we care for our clients. We are definitely grateful for that. CBeauty..

Bride: I see you have been in the beauty business for years. How many weddings have you done?
Do you normally work with brides?
CBeauty: We have been in the beauty industry for over fifteen years. We have made hundreds of brides
and their bridal parties gorgeous. We are definitely beauty experts in the bridal/wedding industry.

Bride: I understand you can accommodate large bridal parties. How long will it take you to
complete myself and all of my participants?
CBeauty: We love full bridal parties! We book each person thirty minutes for makeup
and thirty minutes for hair. As far as our brides we take about an hour and a half to complete
her makeup and hair. We want to make sure everyone is relaxed, comfortable and perfect for the big day!

Bride: I’m out of town and will not be able to make it for a trial. Would I be able to get references if I request them?
CBeauty: Getting married is a huge event and can be stressful. We want our bride, her family and friends to be totally satisfied
with our services. Our job is to make you feel relaxed and pampered. So if it makes our bride more at ease having references, then absolutely.

Bride: I’m interested in booking Capuchino Beauty for my wedding. Do you require a deposit and will we have a contract?
CBeauty: Once we talk and agree we are a good fit. We will determine if your wedding date is available.
A contract is drawn up giving all the details of the wedding day, that includes time, payment, place and beauty services we will be providing.
We do require a deposit of  50% of the total cost in order to hold the date.

Bride: How long in advance should I book my makeup artist and hairstylist with Capuchino Beauty?
CBeauty: As a rule, you should have your makeup artist and hairstylist booked three to six months in advance.
It’s not uncommon for us to be booked by our brides a full year before the date. We do everything from
engagement and bridal portraits all the way to her wedding day, so it kind of ends up that we are in from the beginning.

Bride: Worse scenario, what if I’m in a bind. I need a makeup artist and hairstylist at the last minute, could I still hire Capuchino Beauty?

THE BEAUTY OF STILLNESS

In the year 2012 we are moving faster than ever through life. With instantaneous status updates on Facebook and Twitter, smart phones and tablets with Wifi and 4G speeds, everything is going as though we are driving the Autobahn in Germany! Fast! Nothing a person deserves more than the beauty of stillness. Our time to rejuvenate our minds, hearts and souls. Taking time to build inner peace and balance. Centering ourselves. No matter when we find time to do it, the benefits can be enormous. I know what your thinking, with all that is going on in our daily lives how are we supposed to be “still?” I can promise you from my own experience it is worth the effort. If your not sure, try starting with  five minutes a day sitting in a quiet place, eyes closed, concentrating on breath. Your bodies natural ability to inhale and exhale. No physical effort whatsoever. You say you can’t seem to stop the chatter in the mind? Don’t. That will naturally occur. Let it happen. Need help? VALENTINE BEAUTY

Have a romantic date with your favorite man? Well don’t just stand there! Let’s get dolled up! Start with a flawless foundation prepped skin. Apply Sephora Bling Bling Eye Shadow -$12 from lash to just under the brow. In the crease of the eye, sweep Nars Galapagos Eye Shadow -$24. Blend well. Take Laura Mercier Black Violet Kohl Pencil Eyeliner -$20 to the upper lash, creating a simple, winged and slightly extended line. With a angled brush, trace over with MAC Black Tied Eye Shadow -$15 for added depth and dimension. Top it off with two coats of Benefits Bad Gal Mascara $19. If you have time, add a few individual lashes to the outer corners for that extra level of sexiness. Perk up the apples of the cheek by sweeping Bobbi Brown Blush in Apricot -$24 for that soft, slightly flushed look. If you want lip color with little effort. Brush on Benefit’s Benetint -$29 for a stained, budge proof,  kissable color. Need more sex goddess instead of sex kitten? Question: How do you keep your skin looking so young? I’m also in my 40′s. I’m dealing with fine lines, blotchiness and dry skin. What can i do to make it better?

Answer: As a woman ages our skin goes through major changes. In our defense, we need a skincare regimen to accommodate our current skin issues. What we used in our 20′s and 30′s doesn’t necessarily work in our 40′s. Adding treatment and protection to our routines can make a significate difference. Using a creamy cleanser, instead of a gel will help with hydration. Applying antioxidants in a serum, for maximum absorption. A rich creamy moisturizer replacing a lotion will also help keep your skin supple. Another component to be used as a night treatment are retinoids. This is a prescription only, vitamin A derivative, that has been proven to stimulate collagen production. With consistent use you may see a difference in three to six months. Yes..the idea has always been there. So fast forward to working as a makeup artist. Starting Capuchino Makeup in 2003, supplying makeup artists and hairstylists to any job we could get a brush on. Still wanting more, I felt it was time to expand the company to fit the needs of our clients. We knew we make them look good but more important we want to help them feel even better. That was the thought of which our total beauty concept, Capuchino Beauty was created in 2006. So now we bring you more of the great things you love. LAY IT ON THE LASH LINE

Building pretty, full lashes is really easy with the proper tools and products. To create volume and length, start by curling with a Shu Uemura Eyelash Curler- $19. It has a rounded rubber base to achieve that perfect curl. Place the appliance on the base of upper lash, squeeze gently to the count of ten. Release. Brush the lash from the base to the tip with a wand of mascara. Let dry, add a second coat. With a variety of mascaras on the market that can create length, volume, or give a beautiful rich coat of a different color. Try Diorshow Mascara by Dior- $24.
